Running for a reason

Cancer is a deadly disease and we all know that. A recent report from WHO says about 300,000 kids (age 0-19) are diagnosed with cancer every year and unlike adults, there is no known cause.

I hear a lot of cancer stories in the recent years and I know some of them. That is one of the reasons I am running this year. I feel that it is important to stand for them, support them and also spread awareness - early diagnosis, treatment and care.

The other main reason is to contribute to Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner - an organization that accompanies children fighting cancer by improving physical and psychological condition, raising awareness and research. Your donations goes to two paediatric cancer research projects.

I hope that you will know more about cancer, spread the word and support the cause by donating generously.
